MEETING - Woody Caine, The History of Brown Water Navy Operations from Civil War to Present
Lieutenant Colonel Bruce T. “Woody” Caine, Ph.D. (U.S. Army Retired) is an active volunteer at Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum specializing on the Vietnam Experience. During his 26 years of active duty as an Infantry Officer and his thirty-plus years as a college educator, Woody focused on leadership development, strategic planning, training design, organizational effectiveness, and human resource management. He earned his Doctorate in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the Army War College. A sixth level Paul Harris Fellow, he received the William P. Clements Award as the outstanding educator at the United States Military Academy in 1979, and is the 2019 Volunteer of the Year at Patriots Point. Woody’s topic for this presentation is “Brown Water Navy Operations – A History and Projection”
