Rod Funderburk is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Lake Murray-Irmo in district 7770 in South Carolina. He has served Rotary in numerous capacities including District Governor in 2015-2016 and District Vice Governor in 2019-2020. Rod is currently President of the CART Fund. He serves as a Regional Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Division of Rotary Leadership Institute. He is a Ten Star Rotarian, Rotary Foundation Major Donor, Paul Harris Society member, a Benefactor, and a Bequest Society member.

Rod graduated from University of South Carolina, is active in his church and his community and is married to his wife, Rowena. In his spare time, Rod serves as an independent energy consultant with Resource Supply Management assisting industrial plants and hospitals with their energy needs.
