As the co-founder and owner of Commonhouse Aleworks in North Charleston, Pearce Fleming works in support of a team of brewers and servers seeking to impact their community through the social lubrication of independently crafted beer and space in which to enjoy it. He also serves as the President of the South Carolina Brewers Guild, representing the various interests of the state’s 92 breweries and brewpubs. Pearce has more than 25 years of healthcare industry experience, working with employers, health systems, and insurers to manage population health. Most recently, Pearce served as President of StayWell, a health empowerment company which he sold to WebMD in March, 2020. Pearce has worked as an executive in healthcare consulting, technology, and hospital administration. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Wofford College.
