Mark Gould founded the Charleston chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby and continues to help guide the chapter. Citizens Climate Lobby advocates for federal legislation to accelerate the transition to clean energy. Mr. Gould worked professionally as an environmental engineer developing processes to turn waste material into fertilizer and energy and developing models for greenhouse gas emissions. He has spoken previously at the West Ashley and North Charleston Rotary Clubs. He lives in downtown Charleston next door to his son’s family and three grandchildren. He is a kayaker, gardener, and community environmental activist.
