Joanna Wusinich is the Executive Director of the Cristo Rey Charleston High School Feasibility Study. She is partnering with local community leaders including Co-Chairs Bill Hecht and Tim Hayes to replicate a Cristo Rey model high school in North Charleston. Cristo Rey schools are college preparatory Catholic schools for students of all faiths. They exclusively serve students with limited economic resources and provide access to college through a unique model that integrates rigorous academic curricula with four years of professional work experience.

Prior to this role, Joanna served as the Vice President of the Corporate Work Study Program and Strategic Growth at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School which is the largest Cristo Rey School in the Network of 40 high schools nationwide. Wusinich obtained her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law and is a graduate of the College of Holy Cross. Joanna practiced law in Philadelphia prior to her leadership roles in Cristo Rey schools.
