Cheryl O’Donnell has served as the Executive Director of Florence Crittenton Programs of SC for the past 5 years, where she is leading efforts to increase the reach and impact the organization has on pregnant and parenting young women across South Carolina.

Cheryl has more than 25 years of experience leading organizations and partnerships to enhance the health and well-being of women and families. Prior to joining Florence Critttenton, she worked for the City of Charleston Mayor’s Office on Aging coordinating a community response to elder abuse. As Regional Director for Enroll America, she mobilized local community efforts throughout the South to help uninsured Americans. Additionally, Cheryl spent seven years in Washington, DC creating award-winning public awareness campaigns and advocating for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Cheryl holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master of public administration degree from the University of Arizona. She lives in Summerville with her fiance Brad and their two rescue dogs – Monty and Bob Dole.
