Rev. Bill Stanfield is the founder and CEO of Metanoia (www.metanoisc.org). Metanoia is an award winning community development organization that has pioneered an approach to listening constantly and walking with families in distressed communities to discover their own strengths and release their brilliance. Metanoia does this through year-round programming for youth grades 1-12, affordable housing development and economic development projects.

Rev. Stanfield is also a resident of the Chicora community where Metanoia is based and an associate minister at St. Matthew Baptist Church in North Charleston.
