The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center raises awareness about the issue of child abuse through its public awareness campaign held each April in conjunction with National Child Abuse Prevention month.

Throughout the entire year and especially during the month of April, we strive to give adults in our community the knowledge and tools to keep children safe. Adults who understand the problems of child abuse are better equipped to help prevent abuse from occurring, know how and when to the report suspected abuse, and can help raise awareness of the services and resources available to victims and their families.
