Charles Carmody was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He re-opened the Charleston Music Hall, a 1,200 capacity theatre in downtown Charleston, in 2012 where he currently works as the executive director. The arts, and specifically music, are his passion.

His goal is to make Charleston one of the best places to experience live music in the country. He also is a member of The Charleston Wine and Food festival and SC Arts Alliance boards.
