Katy Phipps Calloway is the Vice President of Advancement at Carolina Youth Development Center. Prior to her employ at CYDC, Katy worked in the development department at the Lowcountry Food Bank. Her nonprofit career spans 20 years and has included roles in programming and administration at numerous arts, environment and cultural organizations. She received her bachelor’s degree from Stetson University and a master’s degree in arts and cultural management from Pratt Institute. Katy lived in Highlands, NC for a dozen years where she served on numerous boards and chaired the Chamber of Commerce leadership program for two terms. She moved to Charleston in 2013 where she began her foray into social services.
