Herman Dixon has been a Rotarian for more than 50 years and currently serves as District Governor for Rotary District 7770. A member of the Rotary Club of Summerville Lunch, he has served Rotary in numerous leadership roles, including Assistant Governor, District Awards Chair, District RYLA Chair, Zone 33 Rotary Leadership Institute faculty member, and past Zone 33 ShelterBox Coordinator. He is a member of the ShelterBox Hall of Fame and was honored as Rotary District 7770 Rotarian of the Year for 2022–2023.

A retired business leader, speaker, advisor, and author, Herman has devoted much of his life to helping people develop their leadership potential and achieve greater success in their personal and professional lives. He and his wife, Connie, who is a Paul Harris Fellow, reside in Summerville, South Carolina.

Herman’s guiding philosophy is simple:

He believes that when we invest in people, we strengthen Rotarians, build stronger clubs, strengthen our communities, and create lasting impact. His passion is helping people discover they can make a greater difference than they ever imagined possible.
