Becca Hiester is the Director of Education and Programs at the Gibbes Museum of Art. She joined the team full-time in 2014 and volunteered extensively with both the curatorial and education departments starting in 2009. Her work now focuses on community engagement and working with a team to provide unique and accessible programs for all ages.

Becca is a Charleston native who grew up on James Island. She got her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Art History at Wake Forest University, a Masters in Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina.
