Kristie Burr started out as a poll manager for Charleston County in November 2010. She quickly worked her way up the ranks and has been the Precinct Coordinator for the Charleston County Board of Elections office since September 2016. She earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from the College of Charleston and her Master of Arts degree from the Citadel Graduate College. She is a certified election official and maintains that certification yearly through the State Election Commission.
