Lavonia R. Graham, a Charlestonian native, has been working in the Aging Field for over 20 years as a Community Resource Specialists and a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has an Associate and Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and it was during that time that Lavonia did an internship which Trident Area Agency on Aging where she’s been employed for 15 years as a Community Resource Specialists. With encouragement from friends and family in 2011 she started working on her Master’s Degree in Gerontology and in 2016 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Long Term Care Administration, Senior Services and Aging Services. On October 21, 2021 Lavonia was awarded the SC Thrive’s Heart of the Region Award for 2021. In her free time Lavonia loves spending time with her family and planning for her upcoming cruise!
